Great Sand Dunes National Park

Located a little less than four hours from Lakehouse, Great Sand Dunes National Park is home to the tallest dunes in North America. Ready to take in Colorado’s vibrant autumn beauty? We can’t think of a more perfect excursion than the Rocky Mountain National Park, located less than two hours from Lakehouse. With golden leaves and glistening creeks everywhere you look, Rocky Mountain offers a magical experience during the fall and winter months. Sapphire Point Overlook

The enthralling views at Sapphire Point Overlook are an absolute must-see. Nestled between Keystone and Breckenridge about two hours from Lakehouse, the lookout offers a perfect view of the expansive, sparkling Dillon reservoir. Winter Park Ski Resort 

Winter Park Ski Resort in Winter Park is only a 90-minute drive from Lakehouse and offers three distinct peaks made for picture-perfect carving. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, these peaks encompass optimal options for beginners, including practice areas and wide, easy-to-navigate runs. And—in case you needed another reason to head to the mountain—Winter Park Ski Resort will be donating proceeds from its uphill skiing sales to three nonprofits this season.
