The Best Farmers Markets Around Denver

Wholesome, fresh food nourishes our bodies from the inside out and with the winter season officially behind us, summer in Denver is the perfect time to hit up the local farmers market to find Colorado’s finest produce.

According to Cooking Light, “There are many reasons to shop at your local farmers market: it betters the environment, your local economy, your community, and your health. Another seriously compelling—and seriously delicious—perk: the food, on the whole, is just better. It’s often fresher, tastier and more nutritious than what you’d find on your grocery store shelf.”

Lakehouse has been uniquely designed to support and enhance a healthy, balanced and socially connected lifestyle. One of the seven elements of the WELL Building Standard, and among the most important that Lakehouse has incorporated into the design, is Nourishment. When future residents move in this fall, they will have direct access to an onsite urban farm that will grow fresh organic vegetables and herbs and feature a harvest room to wash and store local foods.

In the meantime, here’s our guide to help navigate the best farmers markets around Denver:
